Alex Dobson is a professional multi-instrumentalist and composer located in Vancouver, British Columbia. He brings a holistic skill-set to his work based on experience as a session musician, ensemble composer/arranger, and studio producer/engineer.

Dobson has toured and performed across Canada and the United States; has lent his expertise as a recording artist to various commercial productions; and has earned credits as a songwriter and producer on many personal and collaborative projects. His love for music spans genre and history, allowing him to fit naturally into diverse styles and productions.

Dobson currently holds a B.Mus. in Jazz Studies – Composition from Capilano University and a MMus in Music Technology from the University of Victoria. He has also studied Sound Recording at McGill University.
